Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Bwindi
Your journey begins in Entebbe, where you depart before sunrise toward the lush slopes of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO-listed biodiversity hotspot.
Along the way, pause at the Equator for photos and cultural insights.
After arrival, settle into your lodge nestled on the forest’s edge. Dinner and overnight under the stars.
Day 2: Gorillas in the Wild
Set out early with expert guides and trackers who know the gorilla families intimately. Trek through dense jungle, listen to the forest symphony of birds and monkeys, then come within meters of a gorilla family, watching playful young gorillas and contemplative silverbacks in their natural world.
This intimate encounter, limited to one hour per group by park regulations, is both humbling and unforgettable.
In the afternoon, journey to scenic Lake Bunyonyi.
Take a relaxing canoe cruise across shimmering water, framed by misty hills. Dinner and overnight lakeside.
Day 3: Departure to Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a peaceful morning by the lake and take one last moments of quiet reflection before returning to Entebbe.
Drive through fertile farmland, rolling hills, and rural villages for an authentic view of Ugandan life.
