Itinerary
DAY 1
We head out Early in the morning and drive through the rich Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley. We then ascend the escarpment and drive via Great Rift Valley view points. Stopping along the way for photographs.
Once in Kisumu we will get to our hotel for check in and briefing of the itinerary.
DAY 2
After breakfast we start exploring the city. Kisumu is an important port on the shore of Lake Victoria, the third biggest freshwater lake in the world and here you will get to eat fresh fish straight from the lake cooked by the lakeside, sample local food, such as Nyama Choma (roasted meat), Kuku Choma (roasted chicken), and Fish choma (roasted fish).
Drive to yacht club where you will take your boat to the lake for fishing and visiting the Kiboko Bay Beach Resort for seeing the hippos, you will then join the fishermen at Dunga beach for further fishing expeditions till evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3
After breakfast we take a boat to Ndere Island National park where you will see is a wide variety of animals including hippos, monitor lizards, Nile crocodiles, several fish species, snakes, baboons, impalas, the rare sitatunga antelopes, water bucks, zebras and warthogs. Over 100 different species of birds can be seen here including African fish eagles, black headed gonoleks and grey headed kingfishers. Enjoy fishing and taste your catch for dinner.
DAY 4
Check out with breakfast as we depart back to Nairobi.
