Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Montego Bay
Arrive at Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay. After clearing immigration and customs, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel or resort. Use the rest of the day to relax by the beach, settle in, and enjoy the tropical surroundings. Explore the Hip Strip if time allows or simply soak in the Caribbean ambiance.
Day 2 – Black River Safari & Appleton Estate Rum Tour
Depart Montego Bay for the Black River Safari, located approx. 1.5 to 2 hours away by road. Glide along Jamaica’s longest navigable river through mangrove-lined channels where you can spot crocodiles, rare birds, and lush vegetation. Learn about the river’s role in the island’s history and ecology. After the boat ride, continue 1hr to Appleton Estate, one of Jamaica’s oldest and most renowned rum distilleries. Discover the art of rum-making from cane to cask, and sample world-class rums at the end of the guided tour. Explore the estate grounds and enjoy a traditional Jamaican lunch before heading back to Montego Bay (2hr drive).

Day 3 – Martha Brae Rafting & Luminous Lagoon
After breakfast, Head east to Martha Brae River, about 40 minutes from Montego Bay. Embark on a tranquil bamboo rafting adventure guided by local raftsmen. The 3-mile ride glides along peaceful waters surrounded by lush forest, and you’ll hear stories of local folklore and river legends.
Later in the day, continue another 45mins to Falmouth to experience the Luminous Lagoon, one of only a few places in the world where bioluminescence occurs year-round. At dusk, board a boat for a short cruise into the lagoon. As the water is disturbed, microscopic organisms light up the surface, creating a magical glow.
Return to Montego Bay in the evening.
Day 4 – Ocho Rios Highlights & Mystic Mountain
Begin your journey to Ocho Rios, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from Montego Bay along the scenic northern coast. The day includes a series of must-see attractions:
Start with a visit to Mystic Mountain Adventure Park, a lush tropical rainforest offering thrilling experiences like the Sky Explorer chairlift, bobsled ride, and ziplining. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and town.
Afterward, continue exploring Ocho Rios with a highlights tour, which may include the iconic Dunn’s River Falls — where you can climb the terraced waterfalls — and a drive through Fern Gully, a rainforest gorge with over 300 species of ferns. Stop for some local shopping or crafts before heading back to Montego Bay.
Day 5 – Catamaran Snorkel Cruise
Today is all about sea, sun, and rhythm. Depart from Montego Bay’s marina aboard a spacious catamaran for a snorkeling cruise along the coast. Cruise to a coral reef where you’ll dive into the turquoise waters to snorkel among vibrant marine life. Back on board, enjoy open-bar refreshments, reggae music, and Jamaican vibes. Some cruises include a beach stop or even onboard entertainment like a dance session. This half-day activity is the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the Caribbean in full style.
Spend your final evening relaxing at your resort or visiting local shops for souvenirs.
Day 6 – Departure
Depending on your flight time, enjoy a relaxing morning on the beach or indulge in a final Jamaican breakfast. Your driver will transfer you to Sangster International Airport in time for your flight.
